UMSS meets the Christian Union
The Secular Society and the Christian Union are holding a joint forum for the first time ever on Friday, September 19!
“Why I don’t believe the world came to be in 7 days”
Two perspectives on the origin of the universe
For the Christian Union, Minister Tim Patrick, Chaplain to the University of Melbourne and former CSIRO scientist will be speaking on his views of creation. For the Secular Society, Ian Robinson, President of the Rationalist Society of Australia, will be addressing the audience on evolution, and the naturalist worldview.

We know CU members will be there will bells (and t-shirts) on, and it would be great if they didn’t completely outnumber us! If you haven’t been to any of our events yet this year, this would be a great one to start.
